It is possible to subtract the bark automatically in the OBC. Activating this setting implies advanced knowledge of embedded software but also the use of the right bark thickness.
You should know that:

  • The official volume scaling is done under bark while the on-board computers measure the volume with bark.
  • The proportion of bark varies according to the stems and species, varying between 7 and 15% of the volume.
